Video: Kandy Colored “Donk” Z/28 On 26″ Rims

The title of this video is “*WHEW!*” and we would say that’s accurate. Whew, what a Camaro.

Let’s start with some of the good things about the car. First off, the video claims its a Z/28, which is sweet. Factory T-Tops are on the car as well, another cool feature. The body does appear to be laser straight, but no telling if there is any bondo underneath. The candy apple red paint does have a deep shine, looking wet even when it’s dry. The rest of the exterior seems to be highly detailed and accurate to the times, with little or no modifications.

That’s about when things turn worse. The car has some sort of suspension lift to fit the massive 26″ wheels underneath. Not only is this going to make this Camaro ride like a buckboard, the modification will make handling very sketchy. While all 26″ of rim are polished and having matching paint, they lack any sort of real tire. This could prove downright dangerous if they were to hit a pothole or a twig in the road. The builder must have spent all his money on looking cool; the motor has a very noticeable backfire when idling. Perhaps a small tune up would fix this, but there must not have been any money leftover after buying the wagon wheels.

But just like any other trend in cars, to each their own. If this is how they want to build the car, who are we to say no? At least the car is super clean and is still driving down the road; a better fate than most second generation Camaros…right?
