You have To See This 1970 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street Semi Dually…

There are hundreds of thousands of unique rides in this world. People have unique visions and create some interesting things. There are certainly those that have a vision that many of us can only dream of. Some people can build absolutely amazing vehicles from almost anything. There are a hand full of extremely gifted automotive designers that their name alone, conjures up images of grandeur.

Then you have this; a bastard child that’s mother is a long haul trucker and a father is stuck in the 70’s in some run down shack. This “One of a kind, custom built, movie theme car” is just a bad mix of lots of good things.

If you strip away all of the diesel and truck, the 1970 Chevrolet Nova appears to be a decent shape car. It appears that the owner had it built right. The full roll cage is well placed, the paint and body look straight and good, the engine compartment is clean and the overall styling of the car is decent.

Then somehow it all went wrong. You have this drag car inspired vehicle with what appears to be a bone stock 4BT. It has 800 ft-lbs of torque and a little more than a 100 horsepower? Why would you do all of this and not throw a little money into the engine. (Lets ignore the horrific styling issues.) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?

In addition to coming up short on the horsepower, the owner wired in a manual switch for the fans and fuel pump? It is so easy today to get a fan setup that kicks on by coolant temp. Judging by the way this car looks, it wasn’t going to spend much time at the track or other places where you would want the fans on when the car is off. We are guessing this is about an 18 second car (maybe).

On the next note, you have this extremely expensive dually rear end and 5 to 8 lug adapters for the front. The owner/builder wasn’t afraid to spend money in certain places, but cheaped out in others. Mixed signals just like this car.

If you are interested and want more info on this bastard child, it is for sell on Racing Junk . It can be yours today for only $75,000. The dealer’s number selling the car is (847) 485-8449.
