This Chevy C20 has proven to the world that hydraulic suspension is not needed in order to make a car to hop. Instead of performing a burnout this Chevy pick up had other plans, like a horse it decided to buck it’s owner. While exiting a car show, the young owner said he would give the crowd a nice burnout but that didn’t happen.

He pulled his truck into an empty section of the parking lot, gave it some throttle and the next thing you know the Chevy pick up was bucking around. It looked like a scene from a cartoon, seeing the truck stand in place bouncing up and down. The wood jumping out of the bed only added to the comic mischief. The only thing that was missing is some Hip-Hop music blasting out of the stereo or perhaps the classic rock n roll hit “Let’s All Go to the Hop.”

The wild bouncing was caused by the C20’s leaf springs giving out and snapping, this then cause the draft shift to then twist. What was suppose to be a fun and smokey burnout turned into a new weekend project. This may have been bad for the owner, but it sure as hell made an entertaining video for us.
