As an automotive journalist, part of the gig is to review new vehicles. But things don’t always go as planned when it comes to an unfamiliar vehicle and a sticky situation, as the folks over at Press & Guide found out when they recently tested a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Check out the craziness that ensued in the above.

The Ford Raptor is full of all kinds of bells and whistles, from the luxury heated and cooled seats to the more useful front and rear cameras. But don’t let these amenities fool you- this is, after all, a truck built to be taken off road, as the guys from Press & Guide certainly found out. But that’s not to say that their trip to Bundy Hill Off-Road Park in Jerome, Michigan, went down without a bit of an incident.
As you can see in the video above, the three Raptor passengers quickly get themselves into a sticky situation on their trip to Bundy Hill.
Ice-covered mud holes can be deceiving and the Raptor quickly proved to be too much for the ice to hold at Bundy, causing it to break through and get lodged into the muddy, messy pit.
Fortunately, with a little bit of skill and a whole lot of help from the Raptor’s mechanical amenities, the Press & Guide crew was able to rock themselves out of the mud. Of course, this meant plenty of cleanup needed, but at least they didn’t break anything on the $50k truck!
