McLeod Racing has expanded their racing into complete driveline kits, consisting of hydraulic conversion kits, aluminum and steel flywheels, SFI bellhousings, shifters and more.

“Our new product line is the Complete Driveline Solutions is designed to provide the customer with everything they need to do a complete transmission swap with a Tremec transmission,” states McLeod Racing’s Bob Scheid. Their line of Complete Driveline Solutions is currently starting off in the Mustang market.

To start the kit, the customer first chooses their transmission which will come with the complete install kit. The customer will get the bellhousing, shifter, driveshaft (if necessary), all of the hardware, VSS sensor, neutral safety plug, and every other component necessary for the swap. From there, the customer will then choose their clutch and flywheel for that transmission and the horsepower that they’re making. 

With 12 applications available right now, Mcleod looks to expand to over 40 applications in the next six months. The Mustang model years that the kits are available for are ’99-’04, ’05-’10 and ’01-’14. For the ’99-’04 kits, there are three different transmission choices along with a variety of different ratio choices.

A customer can choose from the TKO-500, TKO-600, and T-56 Magnum. McLeod wants to give their customers the best transmission packages out there, so what they did was source nothing but high quality parts from other top manufacturers. For the kits, they use Stifflers cross members, Dynotech driveshafts, and of course, McLeod Racing.
