We’ve all seen inside Jay Leno’s garage on many occasions, but there’s another showbiz heavyweight in town whose collection may be just as sweet – none other than Tim Allen, longtime comedian and the star of Home Improvement, Toy Story (as the voice of Buzz Lightyear) and the current ABC comedy Last Man Standing.

His voice is known the world over, and he’s been quite successful over the last two decades. Some of you may even remember the days when Allen drove a Saleen Mustang in the SCCA World Challenge series as part of the Saleen/Allen RRR Speedlab team.

The lifelong gearhead recently invited the gang from GQ Magazine to come to his house and check out his incredible garage, which rivals that of Leno’s hot rod heaven. In this video, Allen takes us through many of the notable cars in his collection, some of which are incredibly rare – with one of them, the ’33 Ford Roadster that was built and rebuilt on the Home Improvement set a few years back.

He’s got an original ’65 Shelby Cobra SC equipped with a 289, a sweet ’50 Caddy 60 series rat rod, and even a not-street-legal ’86 Ford RS200 Rally Car – this one came straight out of Europe equipped with dual rear coil-overs and a turbocharged Cosworth between the rear framerails.

We especially like the 409-equipped bubble-top Bel Air complete with four-speed manual transmission. And who doesn’t love the one-of-a-kind ’96 Impala SS complete with LT5 engine, custom-built for Allen by the GM team?
