The SVT Raptor in as-delivered form from Ford Motor Company is one hell of a vehicle, but when it’s hopped up by someone like Extreme Offroad & Performance in Katy, Texas, it becomes an even more insane machine. It shows up from the factory with 6.2 liters of big-bore V8 engine that produces 411 hp, but Extreme upgraded this particular machine, which was built for the 2012 SEMA show with a sweet Whipple supercharger to knock out a whopping 650 hp – all the better to handle the terrain the truck is faced with in the video.

The mod list is just beginning with the supercharger, though. They’ve also equipped the truck with a set of American Racing Headers, Corsa exhaust. There is a laundry list of suspension modifications including a King offroad suspension with reservoir shocks, new ADD upper control arms, Deaver leaf springs, and a bunch more. Baer six-piston brakes help to keep the heavy truck under control, while the interior and exterior have also seen a full complement of upgrades including a JL Audio/Rockford Fosgate audio system, custom suede headliner, BakFlip tonneau cover, and spray bedliner.

“Reaper” Hydrographics have been applied to the interior and engine parts, giving it a nice custom touch, and overall it’s a killer example of what unlimited money and effort can buy you. We’re especially digging the upgraded lighting hanging out in the nose. The lighting improves the countenance of the truck,  in our opinion.

SEMA vehicles on the whole are usually taken to the extreme, and this machine is no exception – it’s a Raptor we’d be happy to have in our garage, if only it would fit under the door.
