The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is an insane off-road ready vehicle straight from the factory, though we all expected the aftermarket to take up the performance mantle with gusto. It didn’t take long for outfits like Hennessey Performance Engineering to strap a supercharger to the 6.2 liter V8 engine, creating what they call the “Velociraptor” model. Badass, right?

What if you have a family, and the four-door Raptor model just isn’t big enough? Well in that case, you need to buy yourself the $149,900 HPE Velociraptor SUV model. For that princely sum of money, Hennessey will turn your Ford Raptor into a seven-passenger SUV, a legitimate off-road bus for the whole family.

Rather than just add a truck cap to the Raptor’s bed, this is a full-on SUV conversion, with three rows of seating for up to seven passengers. Under the hood is the Raptor’s 6.2 liter V8 with the HPE 600 supercharger upgrade, putting about 459 horsepower and 436 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. Additional upgrades include Brembo brakes, a beefier suspension, and upgraded wheel and tire package.

That all said, Hennessey has not yet tested the off-road capabilities of their Velociraptor SUV. Will that extra weight affect its off-road credentials? Probably not. Even if it does, it is likely still beefier than just about any other SUV out there. All it is missing now is a machine gun turret and some bulletproof glass, and you have yourself the ultimate limo for a Banana Republic dictator. After all, who else can afford a $149,900 SUV?
