Every dirt track fan knows that during the off-season in the United States, the racing action is furious down in Australia. Many dirt trackers here in the States will make the annual trip to refine their skills during the winter.
Everything from late models, modifieds, and sprint cars all compete during early months and its safe to say that the racing action is extremely good!
A few days ago at Sydney Speedway in Sydney Australia, late model drivers Bruce Mackenzie and Michael Hickey were involved in what has to be one of the most bizarre and weird incidents we have ever seen.
The two started from the front row in the second heat race in the night, however before the two reached turn 2 they were both almost upside down. It appeared that Mackenzie got a little tight on the bottom of the track and pushed up into Hickey where the two touched wheels. The contact created a very bizarre scene as the two vehicles tried to climb up the side of each other before ultimately Mackenzie eventually climbed all the way over Hickey as he rolled on to his roof.
Thankfully both drivers were fine. Russ Fenson was able to catch all the drama on his camera and uploaded it for all to see.
