While most of the United States took a break from dirt track racing Australia was hard at it. Every winter several American sprint car and late model drivers hop on a plane and go down to Australia to keep their skills sharp against some of the best Australia has to offer. The push trucks may look a little different and the driver’s may talk with a different accent but they take their racing just as seriously. Australia has also produced several great sprint car drivers that have seen success in America including Kerry Madsen, Ian Madsen, and Brooke Tatnell. What makes Australia such a great destination for racing fans is the fact the their race cars are just as fast and the racing action is just as fierce as their counterparts in the United States.

This season the ENZED World Series of Sprint Cars presented by Hog’s Breath Cafe was able to get some great on-board footage that shows just how great the sprint car racing is in Australia. The video features some unique camera angles where you can see how the suspension does its job around the track. You also get the chance to see just how much work a driver has to do to get one of these 800+ horsepower beasts around the track. They have captured some great on-board footage of several crashes as well. So go on-board and check out some great sprint car racing “Down Under” thanks to the ENZED World Series of Sprint Cars and Mediatec who helped them with the camera work.
