Drivers doing donuts after their most recent victory is nothing new, almost every NASCAR, Indycar, or even sprint car driver celebrates by doing donuts. However, Kyle Larson may of just stepped it up to the next level!
After his most recent victory at the 2013 Chili Bowl Tuesday qualifier, Larson started doing donuts while holding the steering wheel outside of the car. Is their anything that “Young Money” can’t do? (besides race non-wing sprints) Pretty impressive if you ask us, but some fans on twitter are calling it a little reckless.
Tyler Garber – Just saw Larson’s Chili Bowl celebration. There is a line between showing off and pure stupidity. I think he crossed it.
However we feel that Dean Mills may of said it best – Kyle Larson wins again. And donuts without a steering wheel? I guess it is true…the kid can do anything with a race car.
Do you think it was a bit reckless? Do you even care? Leave us a comment below with your opinion.
Ultimately the fans absolutely loved it, which you can hear clearly on the video. It was a great way to end the first night at the Chili Bowl following an amazing night of racing. And really can you blame the kid, he just qualified for one of the biggest events of the year, not to mention outran Tony Stewart in the process!
