The new ’55 Chevy grille is stamped from tooling created by the company’s master craftsman, in Santa Ana, California. The folks at Danchuk even feel this grille is the finest reproduction grille in the world. These grilles are exactly like the originals, except Danchuk smoothed out some tooling marks and fixed the area where the grille bolts to the grille bar. “Those were always areas I felt needed attention in our last grille tooling, so I fixed them this time around,” said Larry Kelly of Danchuk. “We still have backorders to ship, so these won’t be available to new buyers for a couple of months.”
