Off-road and diesels are more common than you think. While they aren’t usually on the trail or race course together, diesel help power chase vehicles to tag along and support off-road race teams.

We take a look at how Kibbetech uses Banks Power in their diesel prerunner or chase truck builds. The video showcases how Kibbetech outfitted a 2018 Duramax L5P, to add over 90 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. With Banks Power’s products, Kibbetech is able to get the 6.6-Liter engine running even better.

Kibbetech installed Banks Power’s Derringer tuner with iDash DataMonster (PN 2756), Ram-Air cold air intake (PN 2622), and a 5-inch Monster Exhaust with Chrome-plated stainless tip (PN 2805). “We wanted to get some more power to our 2018 Duramax chase truck build so we hit Banks Power up,” explained Ryan Kibbe. “We first went with the Ram-Air cold air intake which gave this truck a lot more airflow than the factory intake.”

“The Derringer tuner sends data to the iDash that is mounted inside of the truck,” Kibbe continued. “The iDash is completely customizable. It gives us plenty of gauge and display options in addition to different color choices. The exhaust is a DPF back kit, and we are playing around with where the exit will be once the rear bumper is fabricated.”
