At Power & Performance we are all about vehicles with offensive horsepower used on the streets, so when we found out that Aston Martin Red Bull Racing was making a summer road trip in a Formula One racecar, we had to find out more.

Currently, there is some discussion around a second U.S. race being added to the Formula One calendar in the coming years, so Aston Martin Red Bull Racing decided to take in the sights and sounds of America during their summer break. At the moment, Miami looks to be a potential home for the additional U.S. hosted F1 race.

The video follows the Red Bull Racing team from San Francisco, California all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada with the ultimate destination set for South Beach, Florida. All the driving is done in an F1 racecar with Daniel Riccaiaro behind the wheel.

The project was created by Red Bull Media House and renowned automotive director/racer Jeff Zwart. Zwart has directed over 800 commercials and four seasons of the Nissan GT Academy television show and lent his filming and logistical expertise to bring Road Trip USA to life. His racing credentials include US Pro Rally National Class Champion, eight-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Champion, Baja 1000 Champion and member of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Hall of Fame.
